WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N. Y. -- Westchester County parks officials closed an aging pedestrian bridge over the Huchinson River near Pelham for repairs, according to lohud.com.
The bridge off First Avenue, which allows walkers to cross the river to a path leading to Willson's Woods Park, is expected to be reopened in early 2016, lohud.com said.
In the meantime, park offcials are directing pedestrians to use the nearby Lincoln Avenue bridge.
