WCA is one of five organizations around the world to be recognized in the 2015 “Top Donor Pros" Awards Competition.

WCA was selected as Nonprofit of the Year because of the significant growth it has experienced through its Centennial Campaign from 2011 to 2015. Since the campaign’s start, WCA’s annual donation revenue has increased by 136 percent. The children’s advocacy organization also achieved a 27 percent increase in donors and a 104 percent upsurge in major gift donations over the same time period.

"We are so proud of the efforts we’ve made to connect with donors, and thankful to all of our supporters who care about Westchester’s children,” said WCA Executive Director Cora Greenberg. “More importantly, this acknowledgment shows that WCA has increased our ability to continue improving the lives of children in our second century."

DonorPro President Donna J. Myers commented on the winners.

"All of our clients do such incredible work on behalf of their respective causes, and it is our distinct pleasure to publicly recognize some of the very best fundraising performances from the last year," she said.

DonorPro also praised WCA for making great strides in changing the systems that affect children in New York State, thus bringing about positive change in children’s lives.
