WESTCHESTER, N.Y. – The Westchester Children’s Association (WCA) has released the results of their annual Vote for Kids survey.

Every year, the WCA asks candidates for Westchester County’s Board of Legislators about their positions on concerns relevant to children and adolescents. This year, 68 percent. of the candidates responded; next year, the WCA hopes for 100 percent.

The WCA asked candidates to address questions about matters such as:

  • expanding affordable child-care programs
  • increasing after-school programs
  • lowering youth unemployment rates
  • budget priorities
