The New York State Police issued an alert this week regarding 62-year-old Curtis Brown, who is wanted on an arrest warrant for driving while intoxicated stemming from an incident in 2006.

Police said Brown was traveling on the New York State Thruway on June 5, 2006, when he was stopped by state police for a traffic violation. During the course of the subsequent stop, it was determined that Brown was intoxicated and he was arrested. He later failed to appear for court proceedings, leading to the warrant.

Brown has been described as 6-foot-2 weighing approximately 170 pounds at the time of his arrest. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Browns whereabouts has been asked to contact state police immediately by calling (518) 436-2825 or emailing CrimeTip@troopers.ny.gov.
