Update: What's on the Agenda in White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – As far as meetings go, this week may be a little slower than usual at City Hall. Here's a look at what's being discussed at the one board meeting scheduled this week.

The Common Council has announced a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The North Street Community LLC will give a presentation on the former St. Agnes Hospital building. The council will then consider authorizing an application for up to $400,000 from New York State to build a veterans' memorial park and a second application for a state grant of up to $400,000 for renovating and reconstructing the Kittrell Pool. The meeting will close with the council entering into an executive session to discuss pending litigation.

Earlier this week the design review board met in the council chambers Monday. The board was expected to consider applications to add a new facade design to the outside of St. Agnes hospital, replace the sign panel at the CVS on 452 Mamaroneck Ave., and add three more antennas and inline equipment at the AT&T on 15 Fisher Lane.
