Tyson Foods Inc. has recalled more than 50,000 pounds of chicken wing product after there were consumer complaints about the product having an 'off odor' scent, the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service reported earlier this week.
52,486 pounds of Tyson's 'Anytizers' that were produced on Oct. 24 and 25 are being recalled.
Consumers not only complained of the scent, there were reports of mild illness after ingesting the food, although there have been no reports of any other adverse reactions
The bags consumers should be on the lookout for are 28-oz. retail bags of 'Anytizers' with use by/sell by dates of Oct. 24 and 25, 2016. The bags will also have an establishment number of P-13456, packaging dates 2975PBF0508-23/2985PBF0500-01 and case codes 2975PBF0508-23/2985PBF0500-01.
If you do have one of those bags, either throw it out or return it to where you purchased it.
