WHITE PLAINS, NY -- According to Business Insider, new Target store CEO Brian Cornell, who joined the company in 2014, is trying to help the employees of its chain stay healthy.
More then 300,000 employes will have the benefit of receiving a Fitbit bracelet to help them track their health status, the story said. Target also will give them extra discounts on fruits and vegetables. Granola bars and healthy to-go snacks also will be promoted instead of candy, the story said.
The store itself also wil be adding more natural and organic foods to its shelves in promotion for a healthier lifestyle, the story said. Since the new CEO came into the stores, things are going to be turning for a healthier new beginning and starting with the employees, the story said.
