WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. — One of the two men arrested in the 2014 slaying of a Westchester County Philharmonic guitarist pled guilty to second-degree murder charges on Monday, according to WRFA.
Charles Sanford accepted a plea deal and will likely testify against the other man charged in the murder, Jonathon Conklin, in a trial expected to begin this spring.
Sanford and Conklin were both charged in the August 2014 murder of Westchester County Philharmonic Mary Whitaker in her Westfield home, reported WRFA.
