Stop & Shop is recalling a children’s cough medicine because of incorrect markings on the dose cups that may potentially result in an overdose.
The chain initiated its recall of 4-ounce bottles of cherry-flavored CareOne Children's Mucus Relief Cough on Friday, Jan. 8.
The UPC code on the affected product is 34152031837.
All date codes are being pulled, but only bottles with an expiration date of March 17 are impacted, according to Stop & Shop’s website.
The product is located in the store’s cough and cold aisle. Customers may return the product for a full refund.
