WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Archbishop Stepinac High School will hold its Football Team Awards Dinner on Monday, Dec. 9 at the CV Rich Mansion in White Plains.
The event celebrates the student-athletes football season. School letters are given to all students who played on either the freshman, junior varsity or varsity teams. Special awards are given to players who have achieved recognition for their individual achievements or contributions during the season.
The tradition of the football team dinner is for players to bring new, unwrapped toys to the dinner that will be given to a local social services center for Christmas.
This year’s toy drive will benefit El Centro Hispano, a White Plains community center that has recently partnered with Stepinac in providing a variety of services to its members.
