WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Snow began to fall Saturday morning with a Winter Weather Advisory in effect through the night, according to the National Weather Service.
The advisory is in effect for Westchester until 6 a.m. Sunday, with snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches mainly before midnight.
A Winter Weather Advisory means periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties, according to the agency.
The high temperature Saturday is expected to be 34 degrees and the low is expected to be around 25 degrees. Sunday will be cloudy but become sunny with a high near 34 degrees and a low near 20 degrees.
