A registered sex offender convicted of possessing child porn has reported a move in Westchester County.
The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week regarding the residency of 69-year-old Murdaugh Madden, who has moved to a residence on Longview Avenue in White Plains.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Madden a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.”
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Madden was busted for promoting and possessing child porn in 2006 and was convicted of a felony sexual offense in September 2009. He was sentenced to a term of five years probation and 18 months in state prison. He is now under the jurisdiction of the White Plains City Police Department.
