The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 57-year-old Izelle Campbell, who has moved to an apartment on Battle Avenue in White Plains.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Campbell as a Level 2 threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Campbell had sexual intercourse with his victim in 1991, using a weapon to threaten her. He was convicted of first-degree rape and sodomy the following year and sentenced to a term of between four and 12 years in state prison. Campbell is now under the jurisdiction of the White Plains City Police Department's Detective Unit.
