Police told News12 that four people who were taken to the hospital may have smoked the synthetic cannabis.

K-2, also known as Spice, consists of chemicals sprayed on cardboard or herbal-based materials.

Supposedly it has the sedating effects of pot, but can spark violent and unpredictable behavior in users, according to police and health officials.
