The affected stretch is north of Kisco Avenue, the announcement states. A tentative start time of 11 a.m. has been scheduled.

"Local traffic may see increased volume with vehicles avoiding the parkway," the announcement continues. "The rock blasting will continue for several weeks."

The closure times on each blasting date, the village adds, will likely range from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The state Department of Transportation (DOT), which owns the parkway, is in the middle of a replacement project for the existing bridge overpass that goes above Kisco Avenue.
