WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Prelude and the White Plains Education & Training Center officially opened March 10 when a ribbon-cutting took place with Mayor Tom Roach, city Housing Authority Director Mack Carter, and Jonathan Rose, the project's developer, according to The Examiner News.
The Prelude at the South Lexington Avenue and Quarropas Street intersection is in phase one of an extensive plan to revitalize the city's Winbrook public housing complex, said The Examiner News.
The finished portion comprises 103 affordable housing units and the White Plains Education and Training Center, said the report.
