Postal Worker Charged In White Plains Theft

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- An employee at the U.S. Postal Service processing center in White Plains was arrested in the theft of approximately 40,000 plastic pallets from the facility and selling them for $1 each, according to LoHud.com .

Destin Lee, 53, of the Bronx, was accused of starting to sell the pallets early in 2012 and continued to do so up until this month when his buyer agreed to wear an electronic listening device wire. Lee was accused of stealing two tractor trailer loads of pallets per month, roughly 400-500 pallets per month LoHud.com reported.

If convicted, Lee could face a maximum of 10 years in prison, according to LoHud.com.
