PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Port Chester Police are investigating the theft of a catalytic converter off of a White Plains woman's vehicle while she was parked in a grocery store parking lot, according to Patch.com.

Catalyitic Converters are a large piece of a car's exhaust system that requires a good deal of work to remove. The part is valued at approximately $200, Patch.com reported.
