Police: White Plains Rendezvous Was Prostitution

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Police said they watched a White Plains woman climb in the back of a man's gray Mazda and get dropped back off on the corner of Post Road and Longview Avenue in a tan Nissan minutes later.

Officers asked the pair about their Tuesday night rendezvous and said Gerardo Corcino, 55, admitted he paid Stephanie Dryers, 33, $25 to have sex with him in his garage. Police said Corcino mumbled an apology and described himself as a family man.

Police said they found $25 in cash stuffed into Dryers' bra. She was arrested and charged with prostitution, a misdemeanor.

Corcino was arrested and charged with third-degree patronizing prostitution, a misdemeanor.
