Police: New Rochelle Man Shatters White Plains Storefront

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — After being kicked out of Lazy Boy Lounge early Sunday, a New Rochelle man punched and shattered the storefront window of the Sam Ash music store at 3:26 a.m., according to a police report.

Nicholas Miline, 24, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony, by police patrolling the area on Mamaroneck Avenue.

The Stop & Shop employee cut his knuckle between his pinky and ring finger and was bleeding heavily, the report says. While waiting for an ambulance, he told police he punched the window because he was mad at the bouncer, who kicked him out after he had spent a lot of money, the report says.

At the White Plains Hospital emergency room, Miline needed five stitches in his hand and was released at 5:35 a.m. Police then took him to headquarters, where he was held without bail.
