WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Nonprofit Westchester (NPW), an advocacy organization that represents 90 non-profits in the county, recently announced that the following organizations have joined:
- Meals on Wheels of White Plains
- Fine Arts Orchestral Society of Yonkers, Inc.
- The League of Women Voters of Westchester
- Today’s Students Tomorrow’s Teachers
- Westchester School for Special Children
“We are pleased to see NPW memberships continue to grow,” said Joanna Straub, executive director of Nonprofit Westchester in a release. “Nonprofits in the county see how beneficial it is to join an organization that helps advocate their mission and shed light on things that matter the most to them and their services.”
NPW provides the nonprofit sector with a single unified voice for the role it plays in the economic vitality and sustainability of the county. Under a cooperative mission to learn, advocate and collaborate, the organization focuses on sharing resources, connections, and information to strengthen Westchester in partnership with the for-profit and government sectors.
