Ozzie Escobedo and his mother filed the suit against the district and Stefedson Dieudonne alleging Escobedo suffered permanent injuries as a result of the punch, LoHud.com said.

Dieudonne was charged with third-degree assault and pleaded guilty to the charge, but the case was sealed due to Diudonne's youthful offender status, LoHud.com reported.
