According to the Con Edison Outage Map, as of 9:30 a.m. on Friday, there were 2,584 outages reported, affecting 12,604 Con Edison customers out of the 3,323,537 the organization services.

An additional 6,945 of NYSEG’s 32,806 Westchester customers are also without power. In total, 19,549 in the county remain without power, with services to be restored by 11 p.m., officials said.

Power was restored to more than 30,000 in Westchester overnight, when 49,714 were reporting that they were still in the dark.

Thousands of out-of-state contractors have arrived since the storm to assist Con Edison crews in recovery efforts over the past week, following a pair of powerful storms that felled trees and left downed power lines throughout the tri-state area. Dozens of roads remain closed in the region as crews continue clean-up efforts.

Among the areas still looking to turn the lights on include: Cortlandt, where 1,759 customers reported outages, Yorktown (1,131 customers), Yonkers (936), New Rochelle (896) and Greenburgh (828).
