The truck, which was carrying furniture, struck the bridge and debris fell onto a trailing car near the New Rochelle-Scarsdale town line at approximately 5 p.m., injuring one person, who was treated for minor injuries, police confirmed.
Crews worked quickly to clear the scene, and traffic was operating normally within an hour. The condition of the injured motorist was not available as of Friday afternoon, though the injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
