Metro-North Train Derails In Bronx, Multiple Injuries Reported

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- A Metro-North train derailed in the Bronx early Sunday morning, with multiple injuries reported, according to WABC Eyewitness News.

Four cars came off the tracks, with two flipping onto their sides, according to the report. Emergency personnel has responded to the scene, and firefighters broke windows to remove passengers, the report said.

The train that derailed was the 5:54 a.m. from Poughkeepsie en route to Grand Central Terminal, according to the report.
