DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- The Westchester County Association will host State Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry for its “Political Friday” breakfast this Friday from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Stewart-Cousins, a Democrat, represents Yonkers, Greenburgh, Scarsdale, and parts of White Plains and New Rochelle and is the first woman to be named Leader (State Democratic Conference) of any state senate conference in the nation.
“Senator Stewart-Cousins is a strong advocate for human rights, quality education; accessible and affordable health care and making government more efficient, transparent and accountable to all citizens,” said Amy Allen, managing director, Advocacy & International Business, WCA. “With so many compelling issues on the table this session, we encourage both members and non-members to learn more about how the Senator plans to move New York forward in 2013.”
According to Allen, the Senator will outline policies that encourage economic development in Westchester and the rest of the state. She will also answer questions from the audience.
The breakfast is free but registration is required. Those interested may email events@westchester.org to register.

Senator, please work with the Gov to let the 2% utility tax sunset as its supposed to. I don't understand why you wouldn't support such a measure.
