The White Plains dispensary, located in the city’s downtown, is one of at least two set to open in Westchester County this month.

A Yonkers dispensary will likely be among 12 others to open across the state toward the end of the month, according to lohud.com.

Officials with Vireo Health of New York, owners of the White Plains dispensary and one of just five companies licensed by the state to open such sites, made assurances Tuesday, Jan. 5, that the business would benefit the community by providing necessary services to patients of all ages, according to lohud.com.
