Man, Woman Rescued From Saw Mill River Parkway Car Fire

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A man and woman were injured during an early morning accident on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers after being pulled from their burning car around 1:30 a.m. Friday, according to multiple reports.

Two unidentified people were injured during a car accident when their vehicle burst into flames following the crash. They were rescued by good samaritans.

The two unidentified people were pulled to safety by some good Samaritans and are recovering at a local hospital, said WCBS.com.

Several drivers stopped to help because the car was on fire, with flames shooting10-feet high, added WCBS.com.

Police said the good samaritans saw the man behind the wheel was unconscious and pulled him and his female passenger to safety, reported WCBS.com.
