London-Bound Jet Departing JFK Is Grounded After Wing Slams Into Fence

QUEENS, N.Y. -- A plane bound for London that was about to take off from John F. Kennedy Airport has been moved after its wing crashed into a fence Saturday morning.

There were no injuries reported in the incident involving the Virgin Atlantic Airways plane, according to NBC New York.

Virgin Atlantic was working on getting the passengers on other flights, the report said.
