I-95 Lane Closures Expected Near Rye Thursday, Friday

WHITE PLAINS – There may be temporary lane closures on Interstate 95 north and south Wednesday and Thursday night while the New York State Thruway Authority installs new signs between exit 18B – White Plains, Mamaroneck Avenue East – and exit 20 – Rye, Route1.

The signs will be installed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday, requiring multiple traffic stops. The thruway authority said in a press release traffic stops will last about 20 minutes each, and asks for motorists’ patience during the installation.
