WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Interstate 287 eastbound ramp to exit 8E, Westchester Avenue, will be closed overnight Monday for paving, the state Department of Transportation announced. During the closure, which is weather permitting, drivers will be redirected to take Exit 8W to Bloomingdale Road to eastbound Westchester Avenue. The state DOT reminds drivers to pay attention to all traffic control devices, like flaggers and work-zone signs, and that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
