The Missing Adult Alert activated Sunday evening for Victoria DeSimone was canceled early Monday afternoon.

She was located in New Jersey at a former residence and will be returned home, authorities said.

At the request of the Orangetown Town Police Department, a New York State Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert has been issued relating to the disappearance of 83-year-old Victoria DeSimone of Orangeburg in Rockland County.

Victoria is a missing vulnerable adult with early onset dementia and may be in need of medical attention. She was last seen in the area of Parkway Drive South in Orangeburg, at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 16.

Victoria was on foot and was attempting to go to St. Catherine's Church, authorities said. 

She was last seen wearing a coral colored jacket.

She is 5-foot-4, 120 pounds with gray hair and gray eyes.

Her hair is gray with red colored tips.
