Bradley resigned in February 2011 after he was convicted of attempted assault and harassment of his estranged wife, Fumiko Bradley, and sentenced to three years of probation. His conviction was overturned on appeal in October 2012 because Bradley was denied witnesses he said would have given testimony contradicting that of his wife, according to published reports.
