WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Former White Plains High School soccer player Lily Basile is suing her former school and coach for failing to take her out of a game in 2012 after she allegedly sustained a concussion, according to LoHud.com.
Basile, 20, said she sustained the injury in the first half of a game against Mamaroneck High School. She asked her coach, Carlos Mejia, to take her out of the game, but she said Mejia refused, LoHud.com reported.
