Beginning Monday, both the southbound and northbound Exit 12 ramp to Crane Road will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through March 15.

Also beginning Monday, Crane Road and East Parkway will close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for a two-week period.

  • Crane Road westbound will be closed between Chase Road and East Parkway and a detour will be posted using Chase Road and Christie Place.
  • East Parkway southbound will close between Crane Road and Christie Place and a detour will be posted using Chase Road and Christie Place.

The Bronx River Parkway bridge – comprising two interconnected bridges built in 1924 – that spans the Bronx River and the Metro North railroad tracks will be replaced in four stages over 34 months. The bridge replacement is being supervised and paid for by Westchester County.

The ramp closures and the closure on East Parkway are due to the need to place a crane on the roadway to facilitate a portion of the work.
