Cambria Suites is expected to open by the end of the summer and will have two floors of retail and a motel, Mayor Thomas Roach said.
“It’s going to be a great fit and right smack in the downtown, which will generate business for retailers and restaurants,” Roach said.
Before it opens, drivers can expect lane closures on Main Street as the crane finishes the building, being constructed directly across from Wal-Mart. This week, workers excavated the street to install the underground utilities for the new building. This is expected to continue for at least one month, Karen Pasquale, of the Mayor’s office said.
