The city's homepage features new tabs and a new format that is set to make the navigation process easier. In the center of the homepage, there is a "News Flash" section that will feature the latest city news. On the right of the page is a "City Spotlight" that details events and programs in the city.
“The website redesign is part of our overall goal of using technology to better communicate with our residents and business community," Mayor Thomas Roach said.
In addition, the website will feature a tab that includes links to city departments and the most commonly browsed items, such as the sanitation and recycling schedule, the latest Recreation & Parks program and activity guide and CodeRed, the community notification system.
