WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Archbishop Stepinac High School will hold its annual Christmas Craft Fair Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The event is held in the school’s cafeteria. A large number of vendors will be on hand selling a variety of items.
The event, sponsored by the Lady Crusaders, Stepinac’s parent association for mothers of current students, is organized by Pat Alfano, an alumni mother. Alfano, who lives in Yonkers, has been faithfully organizing this fundraising event for many years.
To recognize Pat’s dedication and support of her son’s alma mater, the school has selected her to be the “Mother of the Year” at its annual Fashion Show and Luncheon which will be held Sunday, March 23 at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club.
The fashion show serves as a major fundraiser for the Lady Crusaders organization.
“We are delighted to honor Mrs. Pat Alfano for her hard work and dedication to the school," Fr. Thomas Collins, president of Stepinac, said. "We appreciate all that our current and alumni mothers do for the students. This recognition is richly deserved.”
