WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation is advising drivers that a section of northbound Bronx River Parkway will be closed Friday in White Plains.
The northbound Bronx River Parkway from Main Street exit 21 in White Plains to the Westchester County Center Exit 22 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, according to a press release.
Northbound traffic will be directed to exit the parkway at the Main Street ramp and be diverted to re-enter the northbound Bronx River Parkway at the Westchester County Center Exit 22, according to the release. The closure is to "facilitate tree work being performed by county Parks Department crews," according to the release.
Variable message signs will be used to alert motorists of the closure. For additional information, residents are asked to contact the Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation at 914-995-2555.
