The missing person alert for an 85-year-old New York City man that included Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Rockland counties, has been canceled.

No further information was immediately available.

Original report, Thursday, 11:30 a.m.

An elderly man disappeared Thursday morning and police are alerting the New York area, including Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Rockland counties, to be on the look out.

Willie Jeff, an 85-year-old black man deemed “vulnerable” by authorities, was last seen driving over the Willis Avenue Bridge into the Bronx, at 9:25 a.m. on Thursday, police say.

He was driving a 1998 green Nissan Maxima with New York registration CH-881A.

A resident of Queens, he was wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and a blue jacket. Authorities say he has dementia. He is 5-foot, 6-inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.
