A Look at What's on the Agenda in White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- It will likely be a slower week at City Hall. Here's a look at what's being discussed:

- The Design Review Board will meet in the council chambers at 7 p.m. Monday. The board will discuss an application for 10 townhouses at 43 Holland Ave. and 467 to 477 N. Broadway, plans to build an 18-home residential building at 18 Harmon St., and Hacienda Azteca's request to build a new kitchen exhaust system. The entire agenda is available online.

- The Board of Education has scheduled a work session on technology in the education house at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

- The City of White Plains and White Plains School District Shared Services Committee will convene at 7 p.m. Thursday in the mayor's conference room. The committee will analyze the pilot project that has city maintenance employees help out with school district’s repairs and upkeep of its vehicles. Committee members will also discuss how the library may be able to assist with school media services and consider other new projects.
