WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains has invited residents to kick off the holiday season with a turkey foul shooting contest Saturday.
The Recreation and Parks Department will host a basketball shoot off open to those in third grader and older who have a current recreation ID. The games will be held in the Eastview Middle School gym from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Prizes include 16 free 15-pound turkeys donated by the White Plains Bus Company.
