White Plains Teens To Appear In 'Legally Blonde'

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Three White Plains teens will perform in the Random Farms Kids Theater production of “Legally Blonde” at the Tarrytown Music Hall beginning Jan. 26.

Kelly Ainsworth, Sofia Puff and Danielle McCloskey, all 12, will appear in the show, adapted from the 2001 blockbuster movie starring Reese Witherspoon. It became a Broadway hit in 2007 after MTV aired a reality show competition looking for a new star to play Elle Woods, a Malibu, Calif., sorority girl who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School.

More than 130 young people making up four casts will take the stage at the Tarrytown Music Hall, 13 Main St., Tarrytown, from Jan. 26 through Feb. 3.

“ ‘Legally Blonde’ is a singing, dancing, hairstyling, jump roping, cheerleading, crime-stopping extravaganza,” Alexi Grausz, director of the Random Farms Kids Theater, said in a statement. “Our performances feature amazing performers who have been working tirelessly to bring you this exciting, high-energy Broadway musical.”

The performances are at 3 and 8 p.m. Jan. 26, 1 and 7 p.m. Jan. 27, 7 p.m. Feb. 1, 8 p.m. Feb. 2, and 1 and 8 p.m. Feb. 3.

Tickets for "Legally Blonde" are $18 for adults, $16 for students and seniors, and $14 for groups of 20 or more. Premium seats are $23. Tickets can be reserved online, or by calling TicketForce at 877-840-0457. Tickets also will be available at the door.
