The Food Bank recently announced that Freburg was one of four business leaders in the community who were elected to the board, according to a news release. Greg Werlinich, Jody Rollins and Sue Tsorkis were also named to the board, according to the release.

“We are pleased to welcome these distinguished business leaders to our board of directors," said Food Bank Executive Director Ellen Lynch in the release. "Their expertise and insight will greatly enhance the Food Bank for Westchester’s impact as we lead the fight for hunger relief and work to engage communities in an effort to create a hunger-free environment in Westchester."

Freburg is the vice president and senior business banker with Webster Bank, according to the release. She "has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 10 years in Westchester and Putnam counties," according to the release.
