WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – White Plains attorney Lisa M. Bluestein has been appointed the 21st president of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association by the group at its annual diner, where she named a new panel of executive officers.
"I am honored to be leading an organization with a rich history of promoting justice for all, advancing the social, economic and legal status of women in society, as well as fostering and expanding the status of women attorneys in the legal profession,” Bluestein said at the event, according to a press release from the association.
Bluestein is a founding member of the Law Offices of Lisa M. Bluestein, LLC in White Plains. Her background specializes in commercial litigation, construction law and corporate law. She is a graduate of Cornell University and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
The Westchester Women’s Bar Association is a chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. It is made up of about 650 male and female members.
The Westchester association’s annual dinner was held on June 12 at the Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club.
