WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Nick Salvi, a former builder and resident of White Plains, died Oct. 14 at the age of 73.
Born in Cardinale, Italy to Nicola and Giovanna Savi in 1938, he went on to work as builder for over 45 years, in the Hastings and Dobbs Ferry neighborhoods.
Salvi is survived by his wife, Rosalba, his sons Frank Salvi with wife Debra and Robert Salvi with wife Sara, his daughter Rosanna Alexander with husband Kyle, his brother Frank Salvi with wife Maria and five grandchildren.
Friends and family may visit on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Sacred Heart in Dobbs Ferry. Memorial donations may be made to Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road Bronx, NY 10461.
