He also was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 21st edition of The Best Lawyers in America for the fourth consecutive year in the practice areas of elder law and trusts and estates.

"Selection for The Best Lawyers in America is an outstanding honor," said Enea, who has been an elder law attorney for 30 years.

"I am proud to be recognized by my peers, particularly this year as a ‘Lawyer of the Year,’ for work that I find so personally rewarding."

The "Lawyer of the Year" recognition is reserved for a single lawyer in each practice specialty within a designated municipality. Best Lawyers is based on a peer-review survey of more than 50,000 leading attorneys who cast more than five and a half million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas.

Enea is president of the Westchester County Bar Foundation, and was a past chairman of the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law Section as well as a former president of the Westchester County Bar Association.

Enea’s practice areas include elder law; Medicaid planning and applications; special needs planning; wills, trusts and estates; and guardianships and estate litigation.

Enea also has been named as one of Westchester County’s “Super Lawyers” annually since 2007.
