“I used to attend GCA, and this was an annual event to make cards for Valentine’s Day," said Conner. "When the school closed, I wanted to keep this tradition going. These cards contribute to the community and seeing their reactions makes it worth it."

Conner is a resident of Tuckahoe and currently a senior at Loyola School in Manhattan.

Conner reached out to the Loyola School community for assistance in creating cards for Burke's patients.

Burke Rehabilitation provides inpatient and outpatient care to patients with various neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiac and pulmonary disabilities caused by disease or injury.
