“Now is an excellent time of year to give blood as supplies are low,” said Jodi Caputocreed, head of White Plains Hospital’s Blood Donor Center. She added that the Rugby Club and Suburbia’s efforts can be credited with saving hundreds of lives.

Donors must be at least 17 years old and in good health. After donating, refreshments will be served at Ron Blacks in White Plains after the drive.

For more information, contact Ed Burrell of White Plains Rugby Football via email at ed.burrell@wprfc.org or call 914-428-7928.

The White Plains Hospital Auditorium is at 41 East Post Road, White Plains. Parking on Davis Avenue will be validated.
