WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Roberta Walsh of White Plains died May 1. She was 65.
Walsh was born Dec. 5, 1946 in Glasgow, Scotland, to Robert and Sarah McLean MacCormack. She married Daniel Walsh on Feb. 20, 1971, in White Plains. She is remembered by family for her gift of "gab" and her love of traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel, of White Plains; a daughter, Tara Walsh Capobianco and husband Arthur of White Plains; a son, James Walsh, of White Plains; a sister, Anne MacCormack, of Glasgow; and a grandchild. Walsh was predeceased by a sister, Agnes "Nancy" Saluste, and her parents.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Everett officiating. Burial will follow at White Plains Rural Cemetery.
